The run will mark 33 months without our beautiful boy Byron. Ironically I was 33 weeks pregnant with my second when our world came crashing down with news that our firstborn had been diagnosed with Stage 4 High-Risk Neuroblastoma. Byron's mum Sasha

Byron spent his second Birthday in hospital and sadly never made it to his third birthday, after a year of intense treatment, the cancer was just too stubborn and aggressive for his little body.

Despite what he went through, Byron remained active during this time. During hospital stays, he would be seen doing laps of the hospital ward in his car with the iv pole attached. 

I hope his strength and determination along with all the other children, inspires the girls to keep running when it gets tough. Byron's mum Sasha
