Support Lexy this December

Our incredible super supporter Lexy will be challenging herself to run 100km this December to raise desperately needed funding for research into a cure for the children's cancer neuroblastoma.

Message from Lexy

Lexis Lockdown LoopsI’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge and I love having the opportunity to put my passion for running to a greater good. So this year I have decided to attempt to run 100km over night for a wonderful cause - Neuroblastoma Australia.

As a parent to my crazy little boy Alfie I just can’t imagine the devastation of having to see your child fight cancer let alone possibly lose the battle. It’s a parent’s worst nightmare. Funding to support these families and research is desperately needed so better treatments can be implemented. So when races were cancelled this year I thought it was the perfect opportunity to challenge myself and raise awareness and funds for this very worth living cause.

On the 5th of December I will be lining up at the Narrabeen All-Nighter and running from 6pm through the night until I reach my goal of 100km - probably around 14hrs. I will be running 5.6km loops around Narrabeen Lake with my wonderful running buddy Hope. It is going to be a huge night and an even bigger challenge reaching 100k but I’m excited to give it my all and would really appreciate your support!

I love a challenge and this is a great opportunity to raise awareness of neuroblastoma - the number one cancer in children and babies with an average diagnosis of only two years. Currently only one in two children beat the disease.Lexy Wilson
