Over $77 000 was taken on the night. This will help us significantly with our work to fund promising research which will lead to more effective and safer treatments for neuroblastoma childhood cancer… and ultimately a cure for all children.

We were truly privileged to hear Paolo Carniel share his personal experience of neuroblastoma as well as to hear from two leading researchers Dr Toby Trahair and Dr Jamie Fletcher. Elka Whalan was a wonderful MC and we have to thank both Diana Rouvas and Luke Zanc Trio for their fantastic entertainment.

Sienna's Gala Dinner Program

On Thursday, 20 February our guests and supporters enjoyed a delightful evening of delicious food, wine and entertainment at the Sergeants Mess at Sydney’s Chowder Bay.

Through ticket sales, auctions and raffles we raised vitally needed funding for research into a cure, so ALL children diagnosed with neuroblastoma get the chance to grow up to live long and healthy lives.

Winner of the 2019 The Voice at Sienna's Gala Dinner

The sensational Diana Rouvas was one of the eight final contestants on the first series of The Voice in 2012 and returned to the series as an 'Allstars’ of favourite this year. As a member of pop icon Boy George's team, she performed iconic numbers such as Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen), Never Enough (The Greatest Showman), A Song For You (Leon Russell/Donny Hathaway), Vision of Love (Mariah Carey), I’ll Never Love Again (Lady Gaga/A Star Is Born) and her grand finale song  I Will Always Love You (Whitney Houston) Diana took out the top prize in 2019. 

Sienna's story 

Sienna, the daughter of Lucy Jones and Oliver Hoffmann, endured six rounds chemotherapy, surgery, a stem cell transplant and radiotherapy and yet, despite her extraordinary resilience, could not overcome the aggressive form of neuroblastoma she had. She died in February 2010 when she was just two and a half years old.

The very first dinner held in Sienna’s honour was in March 2010 and so far, these events have raised over $500,000 for vital research.
