Brighten a child’s day

For as little as $59, you can gift a child with neuroblastoma a fun Activity Pack to help keep them entertained and engaged whilst undergoing treatment.

Children with neuroblastoma are particularly vulnerable due to their immune systems being suppressed by their cancer treatments, which can last between 9 to 14 months. They spend many weeks in hospital undergoing chemotherapy cycles and are often unwell after treatments, so families often “live” in hospital for extended periods of time.

By gifting a child one of these Activity Packs, you can help provide them with some distraction and entertainment during this difficult time. The packs include excellent quality toys from leading brands including Djecco, eeBoo, Janod and MudPuppy, so they can pass the time in hospital and when recovering at home.

Your generosity will not only brighten a child’s day, but approximately 75% of your donations goes to Neuroblastoma Australia and will support research into finding better, kinder treatments for neuroblastoma.

Meet Penelope - Beaming with joy after receiving her Neuroblastoma Activity Pack.

 

Penelope is undergoing immunotherapy and recovering from her neuroblastoma surgery. She also had a lumbar puncture as well as two bone marrows and a portacath inserted.

Finding a cure 

Due to the pandemic, Neuroblastoma Australia is facing disruption to its normal fundraising activities. Any support you can give right now will ensure the needs of children with neuroblastoma and their families are met, and research can continue to be funded during this crisis and beyond.

Thanks to our partners who have generously donated some of the toys for these packs, approximately 75% of your donation goes to Neuroblastoma Australia. This helps us fund research into a cure for these vulnerable kids, as we continue to search for better, kinder treatments for the devastating childhood cancer neuroblastoma.
