Community fundraising

Community fundraising is an important part of the work we do at Neuroblastoma Australia. Our special thanks go to those throughout our community, who spend many hours raising vital funds that go towards research into better treatments for children affected by neuroblastoma.

For those of you looking to host event in your community, we have some resources to help you.

Check out our new checklists below and if you are looking for some inspiration download our A-Z of Fundraising Ideas to help get you started.

St Mary’s College, Tasmania

The Prefect’s at St Mary’s College in Hobart have chosen Neuroblastoma Australia as their charity for this year. On September 19th, celebrating the college’s 150th year, the College held an event to celebrate with all proceeds going to Neuroblastoma Australia.

On the 150th day in the college’s 150th year, Year 5-12 students flocked to the College Green to soak up the festival atmosphere with food vans, music, hair braiding and dancing in the rain, while younger students enjoyed a lunchtime sausage sizzle on the front lawn.

Thank you to St Mary’s College and their Prefect’s for choosing Neuroblastoma Australia as their Charity for 2018!

Christmas is rapidly approaching and today we are launching our Neuroblastoma Australia Christmas Appeal for those people who, like us, want to see an end to neuroblastoma childhood cancer.

We know there’s still a lot of work to be done, so much still needs to be discovered, how scientists painstakingly unravel all the elements of this complex childhood cancer. We know research can get us closer to a cure.

It just needs more funding and one way of achieving this is through more awareness. Please share the link below and donate this season if you can:
