Run2Cure 2022 - Team Ethan Paterson

Our little superhero, Ethan, started battling neuroblastoma at the age of 22 months. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, with a tumour on his adrenal gland and a secondary tumour on his lower spine. He fought hard over a 12 month period, but unfortunately the devastating cancer took over his body very aggressively in February this year.

Ethan's family is supporting Run2Cure 2022 to raise funds and awareness for neuroblastoma cancer, in the name of Ethan Paterson who sadly lost his battle to Neuroblastoma on 18-02-2022.

You can support Ethan's fundraiser here.

Help us raise vital funds so we can fund the research so desperately needed. Our goal is to raise $200,000 at Run2Cure to support a promising research grant selected by our world-class Scientific Advisory Panel.

The story of Run2Cure Neuroblastoma

Run2Cure has grown through the support of our neuroblastoma community from a small fun run in Sydney Park in 2013 to a significant annual community event with over 5000 people from all over Australia, coming together to raise awareness and desperately needed funds for research into a cure for this children’s cancer.

In 2020 we launched our first virtual event Run2Cure Local which allowed our community to participate wherever they were in the world. The event was repeated in 2021 and successfully ran throughout the month of September 2021, childhood cancer awareness month.

It truly was a beautiful day Lucy and you should be very proud of creating something so special. Our family and friends make it their annual event as they enjoy it so much.... and all the new team members we had this year remarked how they can’t wait to come back next year! Sarah, Bella’s mum

Support our Run2Cure Superheroes

Meet our Run2Cure Superhero, Kalynda. At seven months, Kalynda lost complete movement in her body. Further diagnosis revealed a mass in her chest cavity pushing out her ribs and compressing her spine. It was an intermediate grade neuroblastoma. Many children like Kalynda need your support to access better treatments with fewer side effects. You can fundraise throughout September, for our superheroes affected by neuroblastoma and their families. Meet all our Supergeroes by clicking on the images below:

Fundraising for childhood cancer is a rewarding experience. All our children thank you for your support and for giving them a chance for a healthy future.
