Events Past events Run2Cure Local 2023 Taking place throughout September, Run2Cure Local 2023 gives you the chance to raise much needed funds for research into neuroblastoma, and gives hope to children battling this devastating childhood cancer for a cure with better, safer treatments. Simply find a suitable space near you to run, jog or walk, choose your distance, and start fundraising! So, grab your mates this September (Childhood Cancer Awareness Month) and join us from wherever you are to raise awareness and fundraise to help children with neuroblastoma. It helps ensure children affected by neuroblastoma can experience kinder and safer treatments that won't leave them with lifelong health challenges. Ultimately, every dollar you raise takes us a step closer to finding a cure. Harry's Heroes Harry was diagnosed with neuroblastoma on 7 August 2014, just a few months before his 4th birthday. After intensive treatment, including 12 months spent in Perth, Harry relapsed in April 2019 and sadly passed away on 11 October 2019. Since 2019, Harry has inspired the whole community from WA town, Kambalda, to join together as Harry’s Heroes to raise funds to support vital research into improving neuroblastoma treatments. From local families to the town’s fire service, people join Harry's mum, Bec and family in our Run2Cure Local event. In 2022, Harry’s Heroes raised an incredible $28,000 from events held in Perth and Kambalda.
