Our financial reports

Our year in review

Neuroblastoma Australia's 2018-2019 Annual Report provides a summary of what we achieved, the impact we've made and how we worked towards our mission to find safer and more effective treatments for the devastating childhood cancer neuroblastoma.

Thanks to the dedication of our supporters we will have invested over $2.4 million in research by 2020 however, we continue to be a small charity, mindful of costs but focused on developing further to reach our goal – better, safer, kinder treatments for neuroblastoma.

Financials

Neuroblastoma Australia was a volunteer charity until 2016 donating 100% of proceeds to research. In 2016 the charity took on the challenge of growing and developing with the ambition of raising more funds. The charity employed people for the first time and has invested in improving overall resources and skills to be able to achieve its mission more effectively.

The charity’s main costs are the event costs which however provide the bulk of fundraising. Please refer to our audited Financial Reports below.

We are delighted to have the services of Moore Stephens accountants to support our finance operations.

Little Eadie’s Shave for Childhood Cancer

We are fundraising for Neuroblastoma Australia in memory of beautiful Georgia Fletcher. This gorgeous young girl lost her battle with Neuroblastoma at the age of 9. Childhood cancer needs a light shone upon it and there is no greater light than beautiful Georgia. In her memory we will be aiming to raise much needed funds to develop new and less harmful treatments of childhood cancer. We also aim to support families currently facing a childhood cancer diagnosis.
