Sienna's favourite flower

In 2008, when she was just nine months old, Sienna the daughter of Neuroblastoma Australia President, Lucy Jones and her husband Oliver was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. After seven months of gruelling treatments she responded well. The tumour was successfully removed and Sienna was in remission. In late 2009 Sienna relapsed and after a very brave fight and more treatment Sienna tragically lost her battle on the 3 February 2010.

Each year we share images and artwork of Sienna’s favourite flower, the frangipani to raise awareness of the children’s cancer neuroblastoma. We invite members of our community to post their stories and their images to share our experience with this disease and our hope for a cure.

Stand with us and use the hashtags #2little #Neuroblastoma on 2 February 2020.

'Children come second in the world of cancer and it’s only when we raise our voices will we ensure that more funds into targeted research programs. It was an incredible day which showcased hope, stories of success and sadly of tragedy.' Lucy, Sienna’s mum

Neuroblastoma greeting cards

In February 2019, Gallery 307 Art School in Northbridge held a  ‘Frangipani Day’ themed children’s school holiday workshop in support of Neuroblastoma Australia.

Seven of the amazing artworks were made into greeting cards to raise funds for, and awareness of, the children’s cancer neuroblastoma. Congratulations and thank you to all of the artists for their contribution!

These cards are available through our online shop for $10 for a pack of seven cards and sales will contribute to research into better and kinder treatments for this children’s cancer.
