Sixty-five year old Scottish cyclist Steve Taylor undertook an incredible 2,222km starting on Friday 24 August 2018 for the Ride2Cure Neuroblastoma tour, departing Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, before crossing the outback to Adelaide.

With the aim of generating awareness of childhood cancer neuroblastoma Steve stopped off at 19 towns over his three week journey, finishing on Friday 14 September.

‘The plan to ride 2,222km was a deliberate choice as it’s children aged two years old who are most commonly diagnosed with neuroblastoma, I’m passionate about doing my bit to give kids affected by this terrible disease a future.’ -Steve Taylor

Steve raised over $7,500 during his amazing journey.

‘We are so grateful to Steve for taking on this mammoth challenge. He and his support driver are funded their own entire journeys – from flights, to accommodation, to support vehicle – meaning that every fundraising dollar went towards finding better treatment options – and ultimately a cure – for neuroblastoma.’ Lucy Jones.
