Senate Inquiry Report Published

Six families affected by Neuroblastoma and Lucy Jones, CEO of Neuroblastoma Australia took part in the Senate Inquiry into 'Equitable Access and Treatment for Individuals with Rare and Less Common Cancers' earlier this year and the report has just been published.

It’s good to see some of the key recommendations which have been made which recognise the current challenges we raised and the importance to do more for rare childhood cancers; from improving access to clinical trials to psycho-social support.

To raise awareness we would ask players in all grades wear GOLD (yellow) armbands to honour those children that have lost their lives to cancer and to raise awareness for childhood cancer.
As a simple but important way to show support, players and supporters would be asked for a GOLD coin donation on the day to support research into more effective and kinder treatments for children with cancer. 100% of the money raised would be donated to Neuroblastoma Australia.
