Our special thanks go to our Fundraising Heroes community, who spend many hours raising vital funds that go towards research into better treatments for children affected by neuroblastoma. Special thanks go to:

Natalie who has been raising funds and awareness for neuroblastoma for over 8 years, after being inspired by a little boy named JaiNatalie is fundraising in 2022 by running the Kangaroo Island marathon - 42km for her 2 Many 2 Young Appeal, whilst wearing her legendary 2-2 (tutu).

Team Ethan who took part in Run2Cure 2022 in memory of their 2-year old Ethan who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, but very sadly died in February 2022. The community came together to raise a whopping $133,000! 

Sarah Jane Bray and her sister, Sam who took part in Brisbane’s River Run 100, a 21km course, Inspired by their nephew, Frank, who has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, they raised a staggering $3,500+!

Harry's Heroes who are taking part in Run2Cure Local in 2022, to raise money in memory of their little superhero Harry, and for all the little superheroes out there who have battled or are battling this horrible disease.

And a big thanks to these wonderful community fundraising heroes:

  • The wedding guests of Cate McCullough and Kevin Bailey, who made donations to Neuroblastoma Australia in lieu of gifts. Thank you Cate and Kevin!
  • Dovetail Legal Solutions for their support of $510.
  • Lior and his dad who organised to shave their heads to raise funds for neuroblastoma and smashed their original goal to raise a final total of $2015.
  • Medibank customers and staff who donated as part of the I Give Better Community Wellbeing program.
  • Newcastle Permanent who chose us as their charity last year at the request of one of our neuroblastoma families. They raised a colossal $15,944 inspired by the story of little Indianna who sadly passed away in April last year.
  • Renegades Rugby for honouring Superhero Indianna and her family.
  • The team at Sleek Boutique Retail who collected $250 to support vital research funds.
  • The staff at Star City who donated $563.
  • St Mary’s College Tasmania who held a number of fundraising events last year and raised a total of $5359.17!  Thank you to St Mary’s College and their Prefect’s for choosing Neuroblastoma Australia as their Charity for 2018!
  • Team Vixen and Friends who raised in total $7685 through their incredible efforts. Kerrie Stainer and her friends for their fundraising for Run2Cure Local, and decided to add to their fun run and include other fundraising, including team member Karen shaving her hair and raising $2200 by doing so.
  • The Hills Shire Social Club for their donation of $300.
  • Wylie, Maggie, Oliver and Leo for their sweets stall which helped raise $60.
